Join City Truck Upfitters as a Parts & Kitting Technician and help keep our production team focused on what they do best: building trucks. This hands-on role prepares incoming parts, accessories, and equipment for installation, ensuring our upfit technicians have everything organized, assembled, and ready to go when a build reaches their bay.
Key Responsibilities:
• Unbox, unwrap, and inspect parts, accessories, and equipment for upcoming truck builds
• Organize and kit components, hardware, and materials for individual upfitting projects
• Perform basic assembly and sub-assembly of components prior to installation
• Verify all required parts and hardware are present before releasing materials to production
• Stage prepared components and complete kits for upfit technicians
• Identify missing, damaged, or incorrect components and communicate issues to the appropriate team
• Keep parts organized and properly associated with their assigned trucks and production jobs
• Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure upcoming builds are properly prepared
• Maintain clean and organized parts preparation and staging areas
• Assist with material handling and other production support tasks as needed
Requirements:
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand and power tools
• Ability to follow parts lists, work orders, and basic assembly instructions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop and warehouse environment
• Previous warehouse, assembly, automotive, manufacturing, or mechanical experience is preferred but not required

Join City Truck Upfitters as a Logistics Manager and oversee the movement of chassis, truck bodies, equipment, and completed vehicles throughout our nationwide upfitting operation. You’ll coordinate inbound and outbound transportation, manage carrier relationships, and ensure materials and finished trucks arrive where they need to be safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Coordinate inbound transportation of chassis, truck bodies, equipment, and other materials to City Truck Upfitters facilities
Manage outbound transportation and delivery of completed commercial vehicles to customers nationwide
Coordinate inter-branch vehicle and equipment transfers between company locations
Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers, suppliers, customers, and internal teams
Build and maintain relationships with transportation providers and third-party logistics partners
Negotiate freight rates and identify opportunities to reduce transportation costs
Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, missed pickups, transportation damage, and other logistics issues
Coordinate closely with purchasing, inventory, production, sales, and operations to align transportation with production and delivery schedules
Maintain accurate shipping records, transportation documentation, and delivery status information
Evaluate carrier performance and continually improve transportation efficiency, reliability, and cost
Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, fleet operations, or a related field preferred
Experience coordinating commercial vehicle, automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial transportation preferred
Strong organizational and scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
Experience working with freight carriers and transportation providers
Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to respond quickly to transportation delays and changing operational priorities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation, ERP, or logistics management systems preferred
